I wish I could tell you that everything goes away, that if you could just lose the weight you’d be happy. But its not that easy, as you can see from the last anon, even skinny girls get body issues.
The best advice I can give you, is find a way to be happy with your body the way you are (as best you can, I know we all have bad days) and if you do lose weight, you’ll already have the confidence you need. It also helps to have such a loving boyfriend. Just remember every girl has insecurities, I’m not curvy enough, I’m shaped like a 13 year old boy, my hips are too big, my boobs are too small, etc.
I don’t know if that makes sense or helps, but I hope it does… We’re here for you :)
Yea I can definitely understand why that would be an issue, I wish I could tell you I relate, but truth be told I’d give up nearly anything to be a size 2..
I guess grass is greener on the other side.
Regardless, I’m sorry you struggle with this, I can at least relate to being unhappy with your body :/
It depends where you’re coming from.
If she wants to lose weight, be supportive, and help her, just make sure she’s doing it in a healthy way..
If you want her to lose weight because she’s unhealthy, that’s completely understandable, you love her, you want her to be ok. But if you want her to lose weight because of looks, then you have a problem.
No matter where your reasons come from, never bring it up first, even if you’re coming with the best intentions, you’ll give her a world of insecurities by mentioning it.
Love her for who she is, and when she brings it up, support her wholeheartedly.
We officially love you.
