I'm 5'5 and I weigh 140. I'm probably the biggest girl in my friends group at school, and all the other girls who are a perfect size always talk about dieting and how they are getting fat and stuff. So I say they don't need to because honestly they don't. I say it's me that should be doing the dieting/excerise if anyone is. And they deny that I need to, It's obvious that I'm the largest one out of the group. It depresses me... D:
I’m sorry you’re feeling this way! Your size and weight falls into a range that is considered perfectly normal, so you really have nothing to worry about. I do think you should consider steering your conversations with your friends away from diet/exercise/weight. When these type of conversations happen in a negative, critical way, they can often damage your self-image and change the way you see yourself, even if you are at a perfectly healthy weight. Instead, try to talk about all of our great, positive qualities!
