This particular submission really hit me. I always struggled with this throughout high school and part of college, and sometimes I still deal with it. I felt like people I hooked up with wanted to keep me a secret because it was embarrassing or they didn’t want to be judged. My best solution for this problem is spend time, romantically or not, with people who are proud to be seen with you. Being kept a secret or ignored is not something you need to face after hooking up. You should feel sexy, wanted, and desired and if these are lacking, then it’s probably best to move on. -Olive
